Finally Settled In

Well with all the annoyance we have gone through finding a decent host for our site, the search is finally over.

We chose our new host  v9host.com. Thanks to them once again. Hopefully our hosting trouble is done with.

Katimusha and I, BiggityB are preparing reviews for Tora Dora, Bleach, and many of your other favorites.

We have also formed a partnership with Anime Sanction. More details will be revealed later on what that entails. So check out their site and register for the forum there.

Over the next week or so we will have plenty of new features availabe. So stay tuned and thanks for your patience.

Election and Site News

If for some reason you havent noticed that there is a election going on well there is and hopefully you voted unless you are too young to vote. Well I will make sure to keep anybody up to date on the winner of the presidential election since it affects everybody so when I know you guys will know. Actually i might not but if I cant keep you guys up to date maybe Biggity or Finn will keep you guys in the loop.

In other unrelated news the site is finally fixed yay but once again trouble rears its fugly head at Anime Reviewed it seems we need a new host we go through hosts like they are nothing. Man we seem to have the worst luck with hosts its almost too amazing really how our luck is with bad hosts.

In other more un related news I will be doing some reviews real soon starting with bleach 193 when its subbed so keep a eye out. I havent been able to do many reviews for several reasons Halloween, Site stuff, Heroes addiction, Other misc crap, and a side project which I dont think I will talk too much about right now. Not quite sure why but I have been playing the Myspace app heroes way too much so I need to take a break from that game and do some anime reviews.

Sorry about the pictures of the candidates if you are offended just let us know and we might do something about it but most likely not.

Another Update

Currently, we are moving our site to yet another host. Very soon we will be back to our regular momentum of posting reviews and information on your favorite anime. Also we are going to unveil a project we are currently working on in collaboration with Anime Sanction within the next week. Got alot in the works. Please stay tuned.

Okay everyone I am here to give you a few reasons to Subscribe to Anime Reviewed

In some of our posts but mainly just the ones that I Katimusha does I include a place where you can subscribe to Anime Reviewed. It looks like this see below

As you can see it asks for your email address unless you already subscribedwhichmeans you dont need to read any further. The email you list is where we will send you updates telling you that a new Review, Article, or whatever it is has been posted immediately after it is posted. Here are a few reasons why you should Subscribe:

• You want to keep up to date with all the new anime that anime reviewed reviews
• You want to read our opinions of various anime and manga
• You enjoy reading my rants
• You enjoy reading Biggity and Finn’s rants
• You like to watch the anime I include in my reviews
• You will be my bestest friend
• You will sorta be in the Anime Reviewed Staff in a very very very small way
• Its a promotion from being a unknown to the site
• Not sure of anything else so fill in this blank with whatever you want

Remember that when you subscribe you sorta get better privilages that normal folks which is a good thing if you ask me so subsribe unless you dont like the following:

• You don’t like having a email when we post a story/article
• You don’t like reading our rants and ravings
• You don’t like anime or manga

Update

Just wanted to post an update regarding our new hosting. At this time we are not totally sure when the downtime is going to occur. We will keep you posted regarding this.

Also we will be covering manga and video games. We are in the market for a new domain that will reflect the new media we are going to cover. Our very first podcast is in its early stages. We hope to have one by the end of October. The plan is one podcast a week.

Finn will start his coverage of Manga soon. Stay tuned for many great updates.

OVER 10,000!!!!! and downtime?

Hey everyone it is I that lovable scamp Katimusha aka Trey which ever one you want to refer to me as and I am here to make a few important announcements.

Okay I have a question for you before I do any announcing which would you rather hear first the good news or the bad news.

Ok you know what I am going to ignore all of your answers to my question and begin with the good news because who would like to hear bad news first.

GOOD NEWS

We here at Anime Reviewed have broken all our previous records for the number of Visitors we have had in one month. Our previous record was last months which was 5,000 so we have doubled since last month when we hit the 5,000 visitor mark.

In addition to the 10,000 visitors we also have had 44,386 page views which is pretty good I guess but all those visitors put a massive strain on our bandwidth so it seems we need to move to a new host.

And that is where the bad news starts…

BAD NEWS

The bad news is that there will be down time tomorrow at 5 pm Pacific time and about 8 pm eastern time so we can move into our new host.

Also nobody donated even a single penny to help us so its coming out of our pockets mainly Burt and Finns but still you could relieve the strain they have to go through to keep this site up and running.

D Gray Man is ending and I suck at Rock Band that is all of the bad news that I can think of at the moment so maybe you will feel sorry for us and donate.

OTHER NEWS

I will be doing a review of the Naruto Shippuuden 1 hour special sometime after we get our new host then I will do a Katekyo Hitman Reborn 101 review. I might also do a Soul Eater 25 review but I don’t know yet also I just finished watching Code Geass and Code Geass R2 and I enjoyed it so check all of it out. There will be another announcement with more awesome announcement stuff tomorrow probably after the host change so stay tuned.

Donate to Anime Reviewed

We just recently added a Donate Button. I wanted to inform you what your donations will be used for.

Currently, we pay for everything thing out of pocket. Hosting,domains,etc. Also we would like to expand and eventually offer a weekly video podcast,do interviews, coverage of anime/comic conventions, include manga reviews, get a new design/layout for the site and many, many other plans.

Guess what we rock

Ok I might of over exaggerated but we just got listed in Dmoz.org which is apparently a really specific directory that only the best sites make it on there. I don’t really know why we made it on there but hey I am not going to complain the only problem is we use up so much bandwith every month heck in just the first 5 days of September we have used up a about a gig of bandwith. That might sound like a good thing but our host is sorta crappy so if this keeps up we will probably have to move hosts by next month because we are too good for them. So far this month all 5 days of it we have had 1568 which is quite a bit since we haven’t been up for that long. Curse our awesomeness it is a curse that we have such a lame host that only gives 10 gigs of bandwith lol. I am proud of our site it has grown so much in such a short time I give ourselves a pat on the back. Something I am not proud of is our forum which has a underwealming 12 members… 12 ok that’s pretty horrible you guys should feel ashamed of yourselves in fact I’m weeping as I type. You know what you guys should do to make up for your lack of signing up in the forum go sign up in the forum. Well I was going to post my newest amv in celebration but unfortunately we are having technical difficulties which does not rock. We also have a new page the Bleach Captains guide which you should check out.

Katimusha Edit: We are back to full power so dont anyone worry about us since we are super awesome so for your patience in this really crappy matter you get a thumbs up.

We are hard at work on redoing the site with a new template. Also we will begin shortly covering manga. We are in the middle of picking a new domain name that will adequtely reflect our new changes. In addition to this, expect an anime reviewed podcast coming very soon.  There maybe other changes which we will keep you informed of, as they happen.
