zero-1 Zero No Tsukaima review: Fear the Zero

Louise is a magician at the Tristein Academy, dubbed with the nickname “Zero Louise” due to her inability to effectively use her magic properly, resulting in zero successes. An upcoming test at her academy requires her to summon a familiar, a servant and partner to support her as a magician. Despite desiring a familiar that would be superior to her constantly mocking classmates, Louise ends up summoning Hiraga Saito, your average Japanese boy. Even with Louise and Saito both unwilling to accept each other, they have no choice. Louise cannot attempt another summoning and Saito cannot return to Japan, and so their life together begins.Source: ANN as usual since I dont feel like going on and on and keeping you good people from your internet porn and stuff. So onward my fellow people to the actual review of Zero No Tsukaima and dont worry your internet porn is probably still going to be there when you get back.

zero-3 Zero No Tsukaima review: Fear the Zero

Now is the fun part where I write about meaningless stuff and you guys read it and ignore me wait a sec this actually the part where I review some anime. Today I am reviewing Zero No Tsukaima which is another one of those anime that I wouldn’t normally watch. Why I wouldn’t normally watch it you ask ok so you aren’t asking but pretend to ask and here is my answer its basically a harem anime. Well officially it isn’t a harem anime but at first looks I thought it might and that alone makes me stay away. Okay so I don’t ever take my own advice for some reason just look at my last review which at first glance looks 100% Harem in fact the series itself says it. However there is something unique about Zero no Tsukaima which from now on I’m just going to call it zero because typing the whole name is troublesome. So zero is unique in the fact that it has some action in it that actually surprised me slightly. I don’t know why but watching Zero made me think of harry potter but why you ask thats because it takes place at a magic academy sounds similar doesnt it. The real unique thing is the main character I guess and how at first hes a normal guy cast down in a world of magic where he has no magic what so ever. I know when I think about it this anime is full of cliches from other magic academy style anime but this one actually entertains me. Ok basically the main character is a massacist since he seems to get beat up by Louise who enjoys beating him for almost any reason she can think of. Well for the most part the show is funny and there are some action scenes but mostly in the second season but the first is alright as well. I give Zero a 4 out of 5 because it keeps my attention with all the pretty colors and the explosions. Ok I really don’t know what to say about the series really because the only words that want to come out is unique but its not really unique so im so confused. Ok so you have to watch it for yourself and for some reason I am slightly addicted to it but once again I dont know why it really doesnt appeal to me but I like it anyways. Well you should check out at least one episode because it might be what you are interested in so enjoy or not its really up to you.
